It is universal roll which can work either as a giant long carpet protecting entire aisle or be torn off small sheets for small leakage confinement. UPQUARK universal absorbent rolls absorb and lock liquid in extremely fast speed comparing other products in market. It prevents liquid flowing and spill expanding instantly. This product is perfect for fast-flowing liquids or large-area spill containment.

Rapid adsorption minimizes the risk of leaks and reduce the cost and workload of cleanup. Absorbing means transferring the leakage liquid into the fibers of absorbent rolls and keeping it in a fixed state. Time consuming saturation means the liquid is still in a flowing state and the moving leaks will expand the leakage area. OSHA divides spills into accidental spills and emergency spills. Even a harmless accidental leak will turn into a dangerous emergency leak if it can’t be controlled in time, such as the polluted liquid flowing into a sewer. Expanding leek result in high risks and also increase cost and labor of cleaning up.

The more liquid absorbent absorbs the less money customer pays – just like most brands promotes in their advertisement. However, in real applications, it is difficult for high absorbing pad to achieve 100% adsorption saturation. Normally it just realizes about 50% of absorbing capacity. To have full saturation, needs to meets following 2 requirements: 1) The entire absorbent fully contacts with the leaked liquid. 2) More liquid volume than absorbent’s absorbing capacity. When leakage occurs, the leakage liquid is in a fast-moving state in high level. Only the fast-adsorbing absorbent contacts and locks liquid in short time to achieve the maximum adsorbing capacity. Ordinary absorbent takes longer time to saturation. When the leaked liquid flows away and its water level drops down, absorbent has no contact surface to catch up more liquid. What makes the matter worse, the escaped liquid might flow into the machine or enter the sewer, which result in pollution spreading and cost more for cleaning. This is why we prefer fast absorbing rather than high adsorbing rate absorbent.

We do not recommend to do so ! UPQUARK universal extremely absorbent rolls do clean up most liquids but it disrupts color coding management and increases mishandling risks. Gray absorbent products appear most frequently in the work environment. If universal extremely absorbent rolls are used to clean dangerous chemical liquids, employees may habitually think that it is an ordinary leak and clean it up without wearing PPE, it might result in personal injury or mishandling of waste disposal as general industrial waste. On another hand, if a chemical spill occurs and you only have universal extremely absorbent rolls on hand, do not hesitate to clean it up immediately with gray absorbent rolls. Although universal absorbent is not ideal for chemical liquids, leakage control is priority 1 at that moment . Please follow up the the entire cleaning process to avoid misunderstandings. Hazmat chemical absorbents should be replenished as soon as possible later.

No ! Absorption of flammable liquids does not change its physical and chemical properties. Treat saturated absorbents with the same storage, handling and safety precautions as you would use with the liquids that has been absorbed.

When a roll looks darker in the middle than its rest areas, it still works. And when there’s a puddle around the outside edge of the roll, or if it squishes when you step on it, it’s completely saturated and should be replaced.

We do not recommend secondary use. Used Universal absorbents should be disposed as waste according to the adsorbed chemical liquid as soon as possible. Improper storage will cause the liquid to react chemically with other chemicals, causing danger. UPQUARK Universal Extremely Absorbent rolls have easy-tear lines. For small leaks, You can tear off half of them for small leakage catch up as economic solution.

Picker is an 1 meter aluminum alloy clip and it helps for picking up absorbent . In real application , just hold the handle at one end and the other section of the clip will pick up the saturated absorbent. The material of the clip is resistant for acid, alkali and corrosion and can pick up items less than 5 kg stably. By application picker no direct body contact with saturated roll is needed for safety. And you can treat it as PPE personal safety. Meanwhile it make operators’ picking up easier especially for the saturated absorbent in corner -- no need to bend down or squat when placing and picking up, which reduces labor intensity greatly.
