Oil absorbent pads clean up all oil leaks that occur at work, including engine oil, lubricants, paint, diesel, etc.

It only absorbs oil-based liquids and hydrocarbons and repels all water. It applies widely in factories, laboratories, warehouses, gas stations and marine industries. It can float on the water surface for oil leaks collection even absorbing saturated and make cleaning a easy job.

Note:
  1. Cannot be used together with oil stain cleaning products such as degreasing agents.
  2. Recyclable as disposal PP. Incineration is not recommended. Self-incineration may cause fire or produce toxic and harmful gases due to the decomposition of materials and adsorbed liquids.

Oil absorbent pads absorbent for oil-based liquid such as engine oil, lubricants, paint, diesel, etc. . Oil absorbent pads lock liquid 12 times of its own weight. This product only absorbs oil and repels water. It can float on water even in saturation status so it always used to clean oil stains on the water.
Clay is a traditional method for cleaning oil stains on the ground. To absorb oil the same weighted clay is needed. When apply clay for oil containment, the operator needs to hold heavy clay and constantly sprinkle it on the oil spill. Dust will be inhaled in the nasal cavity, and the mixture of clay and oil on the soles of your feet will be carried wherever you go. The clay will allow the oil to stay on the surface of the particles, and as gravity continues to act, the oil will fall back to the ground. In comparing with clay, oil absorbent absorbing rate is 10 times and it lock liquid on its fiber surface, which is more economic and environmental friendly solution.
General speaking Oil-based liquid is not corrosive, but direct contact with human body might cause eye hurt , skin irritation, or potential slipping. Therefore, some primary PPE is still needed in process of spill handling.
No ! Absorption of flammable liquids does not change its physical and chemical properties. Treat saturated absorbents with the same storage, handling and safety precautions as you would use with the liquids that has been absorbed.
We do not recommend secondary use. Used Oil absorbent pads should be disposed as waste according to the adsorbed chemical liquid as soon as possible. Improper storage will cause the liquid to react chemically with other chemicals, causing danger. Oil absorbent pads have easy-tear lines. For small leaks, You can tear off half of them for small leakage catch up as economic solution.
Picker is an 1 meter aluminum alloy clip and it helps for picking up oil absorbent pads . In real application , just hold the handle at one end and the other section of the clip will pick up the saturated absorbent. The material of the clip is resistant for acid, alkali and corrosion and can pick up items less than 5 kg stably. By application picker no direct body contact with saturated pad is needed for safety. And you can treat it as PPE personal safety. Meanwhile it make operators’ picking up easier especially for the saturated absorbent in corner -- no need to bend down or squat when placing and picking up, which reduces labor intensity greatly.
Per 16 years’ experience, the most frequently complaint for pads is generated by packaging. Cartons are prone to damage and moisture during transportation. Damp cartons causes more moisture filtration which affects the adsorption performance. The plastic box is stronger and isolates moisture more effectively. Plastic packaging will not be ruined by water and self-extinguish with fire, which reduces fire flaming risk.
As emergency handling product, oil absorbent pads should be fast eye-catching and easily accessible. White plastic boxes with fluorescent stickers stand out no matter where they are placed -- it is easy to spot even in a pile of cardboard boxes even in power outages or driving at night.
